The state government has stated that the news that lockdown has been extended in state August 31 is not only misleading but also incorrect.

In a communique  issueed by the state government it has been clarified that the news regarding extension of lockdown till August 31 is completely false and incorrect. The general administration department stated that district collectorshave been empowered in the state to Infosys lockdown after assessment of local condition keeping in view the prevention and control of novel coronavirus covid-19 pandemic. Presently the district controller have inforced lockdown till August 6, that to in hotspot district.

GAD secretary doctor kamalpreet Singh clarified that the guideline forwarded to district collectors for reference for unlock 3.he further added that the MHA guidelines effective on few major issues while the remaining decisions like opening of markets, etc are state government issues.
