Chetti Chand is the Sindhi New Year Day celebrated on the second day of Cheti month,
As per the announcement of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, there will be a general holiday in the municipal corporations and the municipality areas of the state on the occasion of Chetrichand (Chautichand) festival on Thursday, March 23, 2023. A notification regarding this holiday has been issued by the General Administration Department, Government of Chhattisgarh.
On March 23, all the banks and other government financial institutions, treasuries, sub-treasuries, co-operative banks etc. will remain open in the state. Also, all the government offices located in Naya Raipur and also those located in the rural areas of the state will remain open.
