IIM Raipur celebrated Hindi Diwas on 14th September 2023. Chief guest, Dr.Salil Shrivastava, O.S.D, Chhattisgarh Housing and Environment Department, Government of Chhattisgarh, along with Prof. Ram Kumar Kakani, Director, IIM Raipur, Col. (Dr.) Harindra Tripathi, Chief Administrative Officer, IIM Raipur, and Shri Ashwani Bharadwaj, Hindi Officer and Store and Purchase Officer (Sr. Grade), IIM Raipur, graced the event with their presence. Faculty members, staff members, and students participated with great enthusiasm and zeal.

Professor Ram Kumar Kakani greeted the chief guest, Dr. Salil Shrivastava, with a memento and started the program by expressing his valuable thoughts.

IIM Raipur organized three events on the occasion of Hindi Week, on 12th September Kavitarpan Competition– Hindi Poetry Presentation for students and Essay Competition for Professors and Staff members of the college was organised, and a Quiz Competition was organised for the students on 13th September. The winners of these competitions were honored by the chief guest, Dr. Salil Srivastava, and Professor Ram Kumar Kakani on the eve of Hindi Diwas.

The poetry competition winners were Sanjana and Aanchal Verma,  the quiz competition winners were Abhinav Singh and Shreya Yadav, and the runners-up were Sanjana Tiwari and Ayush Gupta. The winners of the elocution competition were Shri Devendra Kumar Sinha, Ms. Shraddha Shesh, and Mr. Bharat Farkiya.

Chief Administrative Officer of IIM Raipur, Colonel (Dr.) Harindra Tripathi presented a report on the efforts made by the institute to promote Hindi. The Chief Guest also presented his views on Hindi Day, and Mr. Ashwani Bhardwaj gave a vote of thanks.
