Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will inaugurate and perform Bhoomi Pujan of 209 development and development works worth Rs 263.67 crore in Bijapur on Friday. This includes the inauguration of 64 works worth Rs 35.13 crore and Bhoomi Pujan of 145 development works worth Rs 228.53 crore.

The works to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Sai mainly include Bhimrao Ambedkar Sarva Samaj Manglik Bhawan constructed at a cost of 01.50 crore in Bijapur, Nal Jal Yojana constructed in 10 villages - Tadmer, Korlapally, Odsa, Dudheda, Gotaiguda, Pebasguda, Gilgichar, Intulnar, Nukanpal worth Rs 5.65 crore, construction of rooms in 15 Swami Atmanand Hindi medium schools at a cost of Rs 10.93 crore and other works, Primary Health Center building in Mirtur worth Rs 65 lakh, construction of four fair price shops at a cost of Rs 50.57 lakh, four Anganwadi buildings at a cost of Rs 35.50 lakh, construction of ponds in Kottapalli and Rudraram worth Rs 02.15 crore, office building worth Rs 96.60 lakh in Bhairamgarh and Bhopalpatnam, electrification work of Gundam at the cost of Rs 76.55 lakh, solar dual pump construction work in Niyad Nellnar villages at the cost of Rs 01.28 crore, electricity connection in 52 houses of Gundam at the cost of Rs 76.56 lakh, installation of 13 solar high masts at the cost of Rs 69 lakh and other works.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai will lay the foundation stone of tap water schemes to be constructed in 27 villages of Bijapur at a cost of around Rs 130 crore. Chief Minister will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of 6 CC roads costing Rs 77.10 lakh in Bijapur Municipality area and Farsegarh-Sendra-Cherpalli road, Bedre-Nugur-Konde road, helipad in Mirtur, Sakhi Staff Center in Bijapur, renovation of Bhairamgarh reservoir and canal repair work.

Under Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Janpad Panchayat Bijapur, total 08 works worth Rs 79.77 lakhs, under Janpad Panchayat Bhopalpatnam, 07 works worth Rs 103.05 lakhs, in Janpad Panchayat Usoor, 05 works worth Rs 55.18 lakhs under Hirauli to Mutvendi road, construction of 5 culverts cost Rs 215.10 lakhs from Kavadgaon to Mutvendi, construction cost of asphalted road cost Rs 185.32 lakhs in District Hospital Bijapur, construction cost of night shelter and Dal Bhat center canteen building cost Rs 69.44 lakhs under Samagra Shiksha and Niyyad Nellnar, total 65 primary school centers cost Rs 16.60 crore in development block Bijapur, construction cost of 8 tribal boys and girls ashrams cost Rs 13.2 crore in development block Bhairamgarh, construction cost of 20 Ashram buildings cost Rs 33.12 crore in development block Bhopalpatnam, total 26 tribal boys and girls ashrams. The Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the construction of Anganwadi buildings to be built in 18 villages at a cost of Rs 1.99 crore, fair price shops to be built in 06 villages at a cost of Rs 45 lakh, community toilets to be built in 31 villages at a cost of Rs 1.8 crore and playgrounds to be built in 23 villages at a cost of Rs 56.25 lakh under the Niyada Nellnar scheme.
