Dr. Ravi Mittal, the newly appointed Commissioner of Public Relations, officially took office on Monday at the SAMVAD office in Naya Raipur. The charge was formally handed over by Acting Commissioner and Director Shri Ajay Agrawal, in the presence of senior officials from the Public Relations Department.

Dr. Mittal, an IAS officer from the 2016 batch, previously served as the Collector of Jaspur. His distinguished career includes roles as CEO of the Zila Panchayat in Mahasamund, Raigarh, and Raipur, as well as his tenure as SDM of Bagicha in 2018. Before joining the Indian Administrative Service, Dr. Mittal completed his MBBS degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi.
